This is the view from the clock tower of St. George Cathedral, opposite to "Piran - Castle View". Remains of ancient city walls are seen on top of the hill, offering best POV in town. "Castle view" was shot from the left "tower", while from other two you may try interesting shots through arched windows. Also, middle tower has a sightseeing telescope. From the first glance buldings of Piran are clustered chaotically, but in fact they follow very beautiful radial structure of streets leading into central square - Piazza Tartini. Koper bay is seen on the left and white dots in the distance is port of Isola. Red roofs of Piran is feast for the eyes. I had to squeeze myself into narrow balcony of St. George tower and take some really strong wind to make this shot.
