Lake Bled

Lake Bled (Slovene: Blejsko jezero; is a lake in the Julian Alps of the Upper Carniolan region of northwestern Slovenia, where it adjoins the town of Bled. The area is a tourist destination. The lake is 35 km (22 mi) from Ljubljana International Airport and 55 km (34 mi) from the capital city, Ljubljana.

The cyclist, almost in silhouette, is interestingly positioned in the composition, with a bright and colorful background! The reflections on the water are beautiful, and the scene was captured with very good sharpness! Wonderful job!

A resort area in the famous lake, beautiful place as we see here.
The man with his bike on a short pause while riding, looks to explore the lake scenery and indifferent to your presence with a camera.

Stop and enjoy the view....
I like the way you start the image with all that wonderful shimmering water & brill daylight - the major components influencing the eyes. That is some big view here, blue water, array of colours, lovely neat backdrop and most vital is the glimpse of a humble looking man and his bike. Quiet contemplation though, but he also adds and grabs attention leading into the whole scene.

The reflection holds and boosts the effect really well here, beautifully lit and sharp with great dof. A lovely piece, Congrats.

Nice view of the modern part of the town on the Bled lake, Usually we see the island with the church or the old castle. Pleasant composition with the biker. Have you taken a walk around the lake?

Hello Danos,
Excellent capture of this man on his bicycle overlooking the lake and enjoying the view. The sunlit town is a great background, which is very nicely reflected in the small ripples of the water.

Another nice composition where a well placed person plays an important role. The buildings and trees are beautifully reflected in the water and the man seems to be rightly enjoying the view.

Hello Danos,

The cyclist, complete with his vehicle, makes this shot.
He looks calm and thoughtful as he surveys the beauty of Lake Bled and he infuses us, the viewers, with the same calm mood.
It's a well composed photograph and very interesting how it moves from the shadows of thoughtfulness into the sunlight.

Lovely moody picture in the same style as your previous post. The cyclist taking a short rest and staring in the distance makes this picture special. The building and the water are the right ambiance and the contrast in shadow and light give the image its artistic value.

Hello Danos,
A view of the modern shore of Lake Bled. Not the most beautiful architecture for these hotels, I believe.
But the cyclist and his bike that looks almost like a silhouette are attractive elements on the foreground.
They also add good depth to the image.
The sparkling water reflects beautifully the colours and is in itself also quite attractive while the colourful boat is coming up the shore where you were standing.
