Lake Bled

Lake Bled (Slovene: Blejsko jezero; is a lake in the Julian Alps of the Upper Carniolan region of northwestern Slovenia, where it adjoins the town of Bled. The area is a tourist destination. The lake is 35 km (22 mi) from Ljubljana International Airport and 55 km (34 mi) from the capital city, Ljubljana.

Entendre le son des fers à cheval frapper le sol, se déplacer de cette façon doit nous changer de nos véhicules modernes.
De plus, visiter et découvrir la région doit être bien agréable.

I did see these horse and carts for hire but it is such a wonderful walk around the lake (and not all that far) that I opted to walk instead. Good daily life scene from Lake Bled. Tfs!

Hello Danos,
A nice photo from the curving street. Going with a horse-cart should be a pleasant way to see the surroundings, and certainly more fun than that toy train. Probably walking is the best option - and the cheapest. But the horse is beautiful and the colours are very good.

Bonjour Danos,

Entre les deux mon coeur balance, mais je crois bien que j'aurais aussi pris le cheval plutôt que le petit train derrière, juste pour le fait qu'il n'y a pas de toit et que je puisse prendre l'air au son des sabots sur le sol.

Hello Danos,
Yet a very different horse cart than we see in many tourist centers of European cities.
The colour of the cart fits nicely with the horse.
It's quite a long trip when this horse has to run all the way around Lake Bled.

I must visit Lake Bled someday! Great, photogenic spot.

Your photo remind me Polish mountains where similar carts caring tourists.
Only different is that drivers has folklore costume.
Good daily life shot with long perspective, as well colors, light and sharpness.

Hi Danos,

You have captured well the action of the hors. The point of view is showing the details of the horse and of the carriage. The light has a good effect on the colors. My main computer is not working, I am using my tablet to access internet, have a nice day.
