Photographer's Note
"Mil Besos" photography exhibition. After the view from above, I show now another version of Real life beats Poetry.
As you can see the b&w photos are very strong and provocative, and trasmite well the emotions of flamenco culture. The person here doesn't seem impressed though, he has more important things to do in real life, there's no space left for ART, not even a glance. It's understandable...he works here and walked through this labyrinth many times before.
"Mil Besos" ("A thousand kisses") is the name of the exhibition about flamenco from the colombian photographer Ruven Afanador, that took place in Caja Granada Cultural Centre, Spain, November 2009.
--------------------
"Flamenco has fascinated the Columbian photographer Ruven Afanador since he heard stories of Spain as a child...he reinterprets the art in 'Mil Besos,' a book of portraits coming out this fall." ~The New Yorker
Ruven Afanador—one of today’s most respected and in-demand editorial and fashion photographers—presents Mil Besos, a unique and arresting vision of the flamenco women of Spain. Often photographed wearing haute couture creations that were inspired by their dancing, the women’s vibrant and dramatic personalities come alive in Afanador’s portraits. This instant classic is an homage to the passions and traditions of the soon-to-be-lost culture of flamenco, a singular art form that has influenced the work of filmmaker Pedro Almodovar, as well as fashion designers John Galliano and Diane von Furstenberg, who have contributed insightful texts to this luxuriously produced monograph. Mil Besos will appeal to classic photography lovers, dance enthusiasts, and fashionistas alike.

in fact - in this case the "human element" is a sort of disturbing to me... there is such a variety of weird people on the exhibited images that - just in this case - the fellow looks a bit too much...

Hi Dear Recardo
tephrite such excess is also harmful, perhaps even too much. But the excess, it causes tephrite, is more culpable.
Yes, I opened the door to tolerate the excess. Rotten things he is involved in high-truths, tephrite People of the People of the relentless criticism, as very unfair, rotten things that float much higher truths to which they are seen in their fright, they were hated. Housing, they think dirty and worthless. I wonder define the externally entered a soft money Even though it is Or a garden elsewhere have fallen from the bruises and the pain of an apple may seem, the rights and fairness Does that publicly define the heart and the public apple bitter thought and out, but ugly is matter?
