Hi to everyone.

Time ago since my last time in TE.
Then I said that I would return in September, but...
But I won’t do.

The next month also I will be working explaining the romanic cloister of Santo Domingo de Silos, perhaps the most important romanic cloister of Spain.

Then, if you want visit me, you know where you can find me (really I am working in Santo Domingo de Silos, but my house is in Quintanilla del Coco).

What I mean is that until October I won’t return to TE. Only some Moondays I could post some photo (that day I don’t work).
Like today (my first day without work since the first day of August).
Today I am in Burgos and I want share with you a new photo from Quintanilla del Coco.

I don’t know what could be the best photo today.
I have no time for think could be that photo.
I have photos, all from these days, with landscapes, with kids, with old people, with rainbows, with sunflowers. Also I should finish the series that I began in the last days of July.
But today I am going to post a new photo with kids.

They are so happy.
They are so nice.
We should learn about them.

Also I want say “hola” to all the people who has visited this August Santo Domingo de Silos and specially who have visited Quintanilla del Coco (Miguel, Ángel, Toni, Nikki and their sons).

I hope you like it and I will try make a new visit before October (in Quintanilla del Coco I haven’t internet).

Que no, que no, que también son unos hijo putas considerables, es decir, que son personitas pero pequeñas, con sus cosas buenas y sus cosas malas como los adultos. La expresión de este niño es impagable, y para corroborar lo que he dicho en mi primera fase, yo con mis 39 años no tengo nada que envidiar a esa expresión porque la sigo poniendo varias veces al día durante los 365 días del año. Lo que me gusta mucho también es el fondo con las nubes.

Ya se que no tengo perdon por no visitar tu pueblo pero los días no dan para tanto y claro no pudo ser, aunque tengo esa visita pendiente, jejejeje.

Que retrato mas bonito, con el enfoque perfecto en el ojo del nino (o nina?), con la expresion del filosofo (el que puede admirar y hacer preguntas) y el encuadre perfecto. No the pierdas de nuevo, amigo!

Olá Carlos,
Nice to know from you and your work in the most important romanic cloister of Spain. I imagine the dificultiness of choosing only one image, from hundreds that you must have. This is a beautiful capture, with great lighting and lovely expression of hope on his face.

Hola Carlos,
Me alegra verte otra vez por aquí, aunque sea esporádicamente por culpa del curro.
Buen encuadre en este plano cercano de la niña, que no sabemos si se sorprende por algo que ve o quizá está cantando. Muy buen detalle de su rostro, con excelente luz y color.

me gusta mucho este retrato, tan en primer plano y, a la vez, tan expresivo. El gesto de la niña es muy bueno. No esperaba todavía encontrar fotos tuyas por aquí, y vero que seguirás trabajando todo septiembre, espero que vaya todo bien.

Pondré alguna foto de Quintanilla, he esperado un poco porque las de Nikki, Toni y Miguel son muy buenas y porque espero tu regreso para hacerlo. A ver si te gustan. Hasta pronto.

Very close tight portrait that enforces the short DOF as the second eye is already slightly going OOF. A fine glowing light and soft but well detailled sharpening on her eye, the miror of her wondering soul, well captured Carlos.
