The Piromusical is the grand finale of the main Merce Festival and can be seen in front of the Magic Fountain on Montjuic hill.

The Magic Fountain is located near Plaza Espanya at the end of the Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina just below the Palau Nacional. This is a fantastic music, water, fireworks and laser light display centred around the Magic Fountain at Montjuic hill.
The music and light themes change from year to year. Spectators fill up the entire length of the Avenue of Maria Cristina from the twin Venetian towers, so we recommend that you get there around 21.00 to get a good spot to stand. There is no seating - you just stand on the street during the show. This is a charming event for all ages and a treasured tradition and highlight of the Merce festival.


This year, however, had the additive tribute to the four columns of Puig i Cadafalch that have been rebuilt, after spending years since the Franco dictatorship remove send as a symbol of Catalan culture.
