Photographer's Note

Today I want to celebrate the spring arrival, which begins tomorrow at 6:14 AM (peninsular official Time in Spain).

Information of the Town hall of Madrid: Sabatini's Gardens are placed opposite to the north facade of the Royal palace, between Bailén street, and Saint Vicente Slope, in a terrace hung on the Field of the Moor. It is a garden of neoclassic style according to the palace.
The garden divides in three terraces: the low one marked by the symmetry of the flowerbeds on both sides of a great pond like a mirror with two water spouts, and framed by four squares with several fountains surrounded by figures of hedge; the second one, which forms an impressive balcony on the first one, where there controls itself the totality of the north facade of the Palace and which under a forest of pines spreads towards Saint Vicente Slope, where one finds a new stairs of double entrance that saves the difference up to the street; and the third one, in a top height and to the east of the second terrace, with a game of flowerbeds and big cedars.

Is in this last terrace where I took this photo, with the couple strolling between these majestic trees.

Hoy quiero celebrar la llegada de la primavera, que se inicia mañana a las 6:14 AM (hora oficial peninsular en España).

Información del Ayuntamiento de Madrid: Los Jardines de Sabatini se encuentran situados frente a la fachada norte del Palacio Real, entre la calle de Bailén y la Cuesta de San Vicente, en una terraza colgada sobre el Campo del Moro. Es un jardín de estilo neoclásico acorde con el palacio.
El jardín se divide en tres terrazas: la inferior, marcada por la simetría de los parterres a ambos lados de una gran lámina de agua a modo de espejo con dos surtidores, y enmarcada por cuatro cuadrados con sendas fuentes rodeadas por figuras de seto; la segunda, que forma un impresionante balcón sobre la primera, en donde se domina la totalidad de la fachada norte de Palacio y que bajo un bosque de pinos se extiende hacia la Cuesta de San Vicente, en donde se encuentra una nueva escalera de doble entrada que salva el desnivel hasta la calle; y la tercera, en una altura superior y al este de la segunda terraza, con un juego de parterres y grandes cedros.

Es en esa última terraza donde tomé esta foto, con la pareja paseando entre esos majestuosos árboles.

...infatti la tua foto mi sembra un inno alla primavera ormai alle porte.
È molto bello l'effetto della vegetazione filtrata dalla luce e del viale sul quale passeggiano i due ragazzi. Come dicevo è molto bella la luce che esalta le tonalità verdi e la qualità è eccellente, tutto molto bello.

I like very much the marvellous palette of fresh green hues in this photo. There's great perspective as we are watching the couple strolling away from the point of view. The light management is superb, there's splendid clarity in this rich composition and a wonderful, fresh but also heart-warming atmosphere. Looks like Central park where these huge trees give so much shade for strolling. Like those benches and well manicured shrubs. The colors and atmosphere are fantastic.

A beautiful street/garden photography.
I love the light management: you can
see every detail ( no hard shadows)
in this picture and there is no one
little tiny overlighted pieces in the
picture.
The path (that is almost in a symmetry)
creates a nice depth in this picture..

une toute belle palette de verts, cela sent presque le début de l'été avec un brin de fraicheur toutefois sous ce pont d'arbres.
De très bonnes lumières compte tenu de l'éclairement de ce genre d'endroit. Une photo très tranquille.

Maravillosa imagen, que resulta esplendida para anunciar la llegada de la primera, con esta gama de verdes jovenes, propios de los primeros brotes, la imagen tiene una buena perspectiva con el paseo, la pareja da una idea de la magnificencia de estos arboles, es un jardin precioso que esta fenomenal imagen pone de relieve, me gusta el efecto de luces y sombras entre el follaje, que da tan variados matices de color.
Bonito trabajo amigo mio, aunque hoy no parece primavera sino invierno, en la mañana tubimos nieve y hoy hace un dia horrible de humedad y frio.

Nice simple composition the colour and row of lush trees are fine for me as a lead, the feel of garden of eden kind of feel comes through in this image from part of urbanscape. I particularly love the colours are beautiful great light and contrast and the detail all add up to a fabulous image. A garden of breathtaking beauty and truly an enchanted place. Well done, congrats
