Photographer's Note
Las Bardenas lies south of Pamplona and the Pyrenees and NNW of Zaragoza, its' sandstone rocks (exposed by deforestation) are extremely susceptible to erosion and now form a remarkable area of interest to the walker, cyclist and photographer. The hills and barancas may lack scale (646m max.) but they make up for this in impact and elegance of form.
Anyone who has seen "Lost in La Mancha" the film of the ill fated attempt by Terry Gilliam to make "The man who killed Don Quixote" will have already seen Las Bardenas... in a unique scene in the documentry it rains and the entire set get's washed away!

Wow, this looks totally surreal... is it HDR or a swapped sky? Inm any event, it looks cool and the colours combine very well: orange and blue are compliments on the RYB wheel.

Very interesting shot. It almost looks like a movie set. The colors are strong and the sharpness is ok although it feels slightly soft to me. Odd place definitely.

Poor Terry Gilliam. Rain is not usual in Spain... but it is even more difficult in Las Bardenas Reales.
Hi Mike.
The light and exposure look terrific and I love it.
And, of course, the place is also gorgeus.
Regards.

Hi Mike,
this one is "breathing" the deserted feeling. I never would have guessed this was in Spain (more like Nevada or Australia). Excellent colours and great details. TFS
