This is a view over the spanish/portuguese border. The river is Rio Douro or Duero. It is taken about 5 kms south of the village of Fermoselle in 'Parque Natural de Arribes del Duero'.

Hi Roland,
Beautiful high viewpoint to the green river valley. I'm sure it's great to wander there in the sparsely populated border region. Good framing with that tree on the left.
