Photographer's Note
Like Sevilla and Cádiz, also Jerez de la Frontera has a large old town with narrow streets. But at least those quarters I happened to wander around we more silent, without shopping streets and groups of tourists. I don't remember exact location but this is somewhere near Plaza del Mercado.

Hi Kari,a very nice capture from the heart of old Jerez, not a great show made by the building not well preserved, but in effect there is a great sensation of peace ands quiet walking there. Very original post,i like the alon man walking and the usual top quality despite the dark light! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Kari,
You captured a very calm mood in the almost deserted alleys of the town. The soft light added to this feeling as well. The old walls with worn off paint almost give the impression we are looking at a ghost town.

Hello Kari ,
The poor light creates a very special mood in this beautiful old paved street. The man provides an excellent focal point .

Hello Kari, the scene suggests that this part of the town has been forgotten, the neglect is very obvious.
It nevertheless is a suitable subject for a photographer.
The solitary man completes the scene, especially as he walks away from you.
Regards Jean.

Hello Kari,
A bit an unusual view, I think. In smaller Andalusian cities the houses are very well maintained and the facades look like newly painted. Like the houses we see a little further.
I suspect that nobody lives anymore in the nearest houses on this picture.
Very atmospheric shot.
Best regards, Paul

Bonjour, cher Kari,
C'est bien de s’éloigner du centre ville et d'aller à la découverte de vieux quartiers aux ruelles étroites bordées de vieux immeubles qui pourraient nous conter des histoires s'ils pouvaient parler !
Très bonne journée.
Amitiés.

Hi Kari,
Well taken your view of this narrow street, good depth effect, good timing with the lonely person, tfs.

Hi Kari
Old non-touristed streets are sometimes hard to find but this one is very quiet with plenty of fading buildings. It looks a great one for wandering. The one figure adds a human dimension.
cheers

Hello Kari,
It's always nice to see photos away from the streets with the tourist shops. This is obviously an area of little or no interest to the average tourist, but to a keen photographer it would offer plenty of opportunities. I enjoy that you managed to include a person to show that it's not an entirely abandoned street.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Kari,
The narrow street with cobblestones create depth and perspective.
Nice composition and lovely old area.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hi Kari
as much as we all enjoy the 'pretty' postcard cities, I enjoy these just as much, perhaps even more. this is rugged, real, rough, tough, historical, its awesome. cheers
Craig
