Cottages of the church village, Öjebyn, stands on stones. The stone church of Öjebyn is from 15th century and one of the most beautiful ones in the northern Sweden. Farmers and their families from the surrounding villages were gathered in Öjebyn during christian holidays. Each family owned a cottage in the church village.
