Welcome to TE Artur. You have certainly chosen extremely difficult lighting conditions for your first offering to the site and I think you have made a pretty decent job of it.

Bienvenue sur TE ! Bonne contribution, toutefois, j'aurais personnellement cadré plus serré sur l'arbre (le ciel n'apportant rien), voir me serais déplacée sur la droite, pour n'avoir que l'arbre (sans le sapin).

Welcome on TE Artur and a very nice first upload. I really like the composition and the almost b/w. The fence and the tree in the background adds a nice perspective. Though I would crop out about half of the sky above the tree in the middle.

Nice shot! I really like the way the snow isolates the elements in this scene. I'm not sure about the central position of the main tree though, I think it would slightly better if it were in a marginally different position. I also think there's a marginal warm colour cast that I wouldn't expect. To see what I mean, please have a look at my Workshop :-)

Very good. The picture looks very pure and unadulterated. Your composition is also very good with the fence providing a line that leads up to the tree. Welcome to TE! THis is a very good first post.

Super composition , j'aime le cadrage et tout ce blanc avec juste l'arbre et le grillage , c'est vraiment bien fait et c'est une bonne idée .

Excelente imagem em quase PB. Gosto da composição e da subtileza de formas vistas. Talvez devesses de considerar tornar a árvore ao fundo mais clara para não competir com o elemento principal.

What a beautiful composition! I love the way the fence leads the eye to the tree. Only suggestion: it might have worked better if you had avoided to frame the tree on the right, and placed the main tree further on the right rather than in the middle.

Hi Arther,

I found your photo on the homepage.
It is a very good picture to expres the atmosphere of winter and snow. I took some myself in Liechtenstein but most were with sun. You did without and that give nice grey's and with the brown black lines a good effect.
