Photographer's Note
F16 Fighting Falcon of the "Teamwork" of the Royal Netherlands Air Force in a spectacular and sudden re-takeoff, during the airshow "Air 04" in Payerne - Switzerland!
... I see the aircraft approaching quietly already in a final phase of landing, the back gears on ground, without smoke trail. I think this is the end of its display... But no, this crazy re-accelerates again and I have just the time to take the camera to immortalize the instant. Just then I feared the worst, but the pilot gives it the full throttle with a deafening noise to continue its incredible show. I put in WS a shot taken a few seconds before, when he was again on ground. Continued in the next episode...
The pilot is the Captain Christian van Gestel from the 322 Squadron, based at the Leeuwarden airbase. He totals about 1600 hours of flight on F16.
I am not very satisfied with the overall quality of this shot, and in particular by the colorimetry. Well, there is a bit of action!

And there's enough action !
And the fact, that the pilot is from the airbase of Leeuwarden is special too (for me). Good shot, maybe not the best, but the action is great !

I think the quality is very good as with your other ones. Especially for being a surprise moment to capture. The sharpness is spot on. The colors look great. And you have right down to the powerful exhaust again and this time matched with the smoke really giving an extra feel for the movement of the aircraft. A little bit of the inside of the exhaust and the whole picture and it booms with the roar of the engines coming back to life to bring it back up. So I think you did an excellent job with this very decisive moment.

Very well captured this moment, with a nice resulting composition. It's a difficult shot, and so is also obtain the better conditions. Decisive moment and a very good enquadrement.
Very well done!

Bravo.

Salut Philippe ;))
Pour une démonstration c'est une démonstration ! Un "touch and go" impressionnant.
J'aime beaucoup.
Philippe
