Avec de la bonne volonté et un agrandissement de la photo, on peut distinguer le fond du glacier du Rhône dans la dépression qui se trouve à gauche de l'hôtel.
La route que l'on aperçoit est celle qui mène à la Furka.
Au premier plan coule le Rhône.

A cool, stark but beautiful scenery. And very nicely captured - the POV, DOF and composition are great. As if the photo was telling a story of water - from the glacier and snowtops to the spring in the front.
I am fascinated by the road that climbs to heavens - incredible. Can you tell, what is altitude of the topmost buildings?

Bonjour Claude, cet hôtel possède à coup sur un pov imprenable, et sur place il faut avoir un œil de lynx pour l’apercevoir depuis l’endroit de prise de vue, une très belle lumière également qui vient donner encore plus de relief et de détailles à ces montagnes valaisannes dans un excellent paysage ou débute doucement les jolie touche d'automne, bien amicalement

La régression du glacier est incroyable. J'ai le vue le premier fois en 1968 - encore une fois: incroyable!
Néanmoins ta photo montre un paysage vraiment grandiose et le Rhône en avant-plan est une addition belle à cause du rapport au glacier. Quelle vue!

This scenery is gorgeous!! I love the very natural colors as well. An interesting winding road and I'm imagining having a cute little hut of my own way up high :) TFS and have a great day!

Beautiful nature photo from this majestic country. Towards the mountain top winding road a superb detail, the river which can be seen in the forefront heighten the romantic mood. The colours and the quality are superb. Imposing and picturesque sight.

That chunk of naked rock really stands out!
Amazing to see how the landscape is marked by the ice, and the dry vegetation in front adds to the hostile feeling...
I like the balanced composition with the super sharp details!
