Photographer's Note
The whole United Kingdom is talking about the new princess being born here yesterday. For me of much more importance was arrival of another princess: my daughter was born almost 3 years ago on May 11th. This is a view of Windsor Castle which I have visited with my little princess this Easter.

Hi Mariusz
Now that's a castle! Though I know of Windsor Castle I have never seen such a long expansive view of it before, fantastic size and depth, really impressive place. The gloomy sky has beautiful detail too and for some reason that always suits castles.
I like your note too.
Cheers

BOnjour Mariusz,
Je ne comprends vraiment pourquoi on en fait un tel plat, mais le sourire de la maman est toujours aussi resplendissant. Ce château est vraiment de toute beauté. Quelle belle ligne de fuite.
Bon dimanche

Hello Mariusz,
It's a girl! I was amazed to see how stylish Kate looked just hours after delivering a rather large baby. :-) I like the colors in this photo. The moody sky and green lawn contrast the more neutral colors of the castle and driveway very nicely. I also like the equestrian statue on the right side.

Hi Mariusz
very nice segway from the new Princess to your very own Princess :)
I often like these overcast days, they have alot of cloud coverage and here we see the added atmosphere, i enjoy that look.
makes me wonder what the original builders would think of the Castle today :)
so much history here.
excellent wide angle presentations, and i see you corrected the lens distortion too.
sweet shot
cheers

Hello Mariusz,
I love how you have linked this in with the 'royal arrival' but, you are right, your own little princess is THE one!
The driveway up to the castle looks vast, much bigger than I remember it but that has given a feeling of extent and space to the castle.
Though we often complain about the weather, this grey sky adds a sense of drama to the setting of the castle.
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Hi Mariusz
welcome to the pricesses! Nice castle picture, but I find the gravel alley too invasive, I would have removed the bottom with the right wall ending on the lower angle of the picture. Nice english cloudy sky

Hi Mariusz,
What a lovely way to celebrate the arrival of Princess Charlotte by showing us this lovely photograph of Windsor Castle!
As is so often the case, you have made good use of your wide lens to give a wonderfully strong perspective which adds depth and drama to this lovely photograph. The light is delightful and the castle appears almost lit up beneath a dark and broody sky.
A fine strong composition with lovely "lead in" lines, gorgeous light and colours and exquisite details and sharpness.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Mariusz!
This is a very beautiful shot, with a great composition, colours and clarity. I like the foreground leading us to the palace and the dark clouds just above the towers make it great! It's huge!

Hello dear Mariusz
Nice capture, nice dedication !
The events to the birth of this youngest member of the British Royal Family shows again, how deeply Britains people are bounded to the Royal Family and their traditions which do not have -most probably- another similarity worldwide.
TFS and good luck to your "princess" !

Hello Mariusz.
Grandiose and spectacular, this great prospect of famous castle, I like this view captured slightly diagonally with the road in the foreground, which leads the eye toward the sober and grand facade. The cloudy sky makes a dramatic touch to the whole.
Excellent resolution and very good focus, color and detail to enjoy.
Very good work.
Enjoy a happy day.
Best wishes.
Luis.

Hi Mariusz
Very good point of view on the castle with a dramatic sky
But it was a good opportunity to make a stitched panoramic view to include more field of the architecture, just two horizontal picture it's enough

Ciao Mariusz
Happy birthday to your little girl. I hope she had a fun day, and no doubt was given a real treat. I've told you what I think about your photo on Facebook already, but for TE purposes, safe to say I agree with you. Excellent converging lines, great colours and excellent work with the dull grey sky. You've become quite an expert in dealing with flat light conditions. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend.
Warmest wishes
