Photographer's Note
Waiting for ……. The Queen
Three photos taken during a short visit to Windsor on the journey from Oxford to London.
No time and no wishes in queuing to visit the Royal Palace from the inside.
Moreover, the royal family was not present, probably because we had forgotten to report that we would be visiting this day.
The castle is of course known to everyone and has already been shown with billions of photos on the internet, therefore a number of observations with the theme: Waiting ... .. for the Queen.

■ Picture 3: ◄ Relaxed waiting for the performance? ► https://i1.trekearth.com/photos/15099/te865-3.jpg

Hi Rob,
What a great observation!
This looks like a scene from a film!
Are you sure there were no bigger cameras around!
The guy definitely doesn't look like a tourist!
I like that there are other people around, suggesting a busy scene, yet no-one, apart from you, is interested in this dapper chappie!
They say that the English are very good at queuing, which you might be able to prove, though I assure you, there is no way that I could waste hours of my day waiting in a queue like that!
Have a great w/e,
Bev :-)

Obviously his phone is much more interesting than what is holding the attention of others. A nice juxtaposition.

Hi Rob,
The man with the hat is an eye-catcher. The point of view is showing the details of his physionomy and of his clothing. The light is bringing out the colours. Have a nice day.

Goedemiddag Rob,
Goed gevonden de man met bolhoed en smartphone.
In feite moet alert zijn en camera in de hand om dit mooi shot te kunnen nemen.
Mooi scherp en goed van kleur.
Goed foto werk, bedankt.
Prettige dag verder,
John

Hello Rob,
What a terrible mistake not to inform the Queen of your arrival. But lacking a personal appointment you spent your time better taking photos than waiting among these hundreds (thousands?)of persons. Seeing the thumbnail and the title I thought the answer might have been Godot. With due respect, the hat makes the young man look rather odd. But I think the homeless man didn't plan to see the castle. He was probably waiting for better days.
Best wishes,
Gert

Hallo Rob,

Hallo Rob, the visitors must summon their patience to reach the Royal palace entrance and to be able to explore it. They are probably excited to meet the Royal family members. The main picture focuses on a tourist passing the time with his smartphone. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello Rob, excellent observation; the man is so engrossed in looking at his phone, he seems totally unaware of a photographer close by.
Good title, how will we complete it? What is the final word?
Queuing as in picture 2 will now have to be socially distanced, if at all!
Thanks for sharing your impressions of your visit to Windsor.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hallo Rob,
Dergelijke wachtrijen schrikken me meestal wel af.
Prettige zondag, Paul

Hello Rob!
"We laugh at all these dreary cats
in pin-stripe suits and bowler hats
who seem to think that life was meant
for earning bread, to pay the rent."
We learned that at school. As far as I can see, I must adjust my attitudes to the present situation.
Have a fine week!

Hello Rob,
Its a nice idea to show people queue for the visit of the Windsor palace, and you chosen an interesting character for the main photo. He looks smart.
My best regards,
Ike
