This building was build in 1842 and nowadays it is used by Bristol University. We can see a monument paying homage to Edward VII and a marvelous fountain in front.

Esse edifício foi erguido em 1842, hoje é utilizado pela universidade de Bristol. Diante dele temos um monumento em honra à Eduardo VII e mais afrente vemos uma bela fonte.

Hello Jorge,

To look at this on Beta, reveals some excellent details of the mermaid and merman, on the fountain, some excellent details of a chariot sculpture on the facade as well as the strong, imposing statue of Edward VII.
The light didn't looks strongly in your favour, yet there are still some good, shimmering reflections in the water.

The building and fountain are both quite impressive and the photo has a fine symmetry. The grey stone at the bottom matches the clouds very well.

I have visited Bristol on several occasions but don't ever recall seeing this impressive building and the equally impressive fountain. The symmetrical framing is perfectly suited to the subject. The image is nicely exposed and the colours and decorative details very well rendered.

Un cadrage classique mais toujours très efficace. La symétrie est parfaite ainsi que le rendu des détails de ce très beau château. Mais on ne peut rien faire contre le temps gris.

Typical British weather! There's some lovely features under this trying condition but suffice to grab attention; the architecture and the fountain oozez to compensate the dull day. Good enough shot to share your experience there! Congrats

Hello Jorge,

Excellent sharpness and the statue of Edward VII & the fg fountain with its symmetrical water statues adds depth and layering to the composition. The bg Greco Roman style building with its imposing Corinthian styled columns adds a splendid backdrop. Tfs!
