a-mazing story! This is, colorwise, indeed a good photo opportunity, with green, blue and red as players. Looking at the photo like this, i have the feeling that you could have made more out of this. A photo that doesn't show the kid's face will be a stilistic photo about colordisplay. With his face towards the camera, it get a more 'peoplesphoto' where you can register the disorientation on his face.( +holding firmly in his fist his salvation,the red flag) As you've chose for the first option, you might have chosen an angle where the blue isn't in the shadow. Now it's too much dark for effective colorplay. Perhaps i would have chosen - if possible - for a high viewpoint (ladder?) to emphasis the tinyness/helplessness of the little chap. (and let him be closer, for the blue) Boy, this is an inspriring environment you spotted well!
