All sorts of sailing vessels -- from the passenger steamers to canoes -- are to be found on Ullswater. I used contrast masking.

A beautiful composition, Martin. I like the tranquility of the scene. The scale of the shot is also very impressive, with the steep wooded hill as a background. Well seen.

A very bold, but wonderfully effective composition, Martin. With just a small strip of water, lots of green forest, and the boat with the incredibly red sail kind of casually coming into your frame. Makes me feel very relaxed.

The grey light put all the green stuff on the hillside together as uniform textured large green area in the image that is very powerful. Very fine composition also.

Wonderful composition. Red sail makes an magnificient effect on the background of wooden hill. I suppose that pic its scanned on home scanner, because the small textures they are not looked at well. Anyway the shot is exellent.

Very beautiful composition, I like seeing this red boat lost in this unlimitedness of green with all the perspective which it gives. It is an excellent work.
