Photographer's Note

My previous upload was from Middlesbrough, the biggest town located at the river Tees. River Tees draws a border between County Durham (north of the river) and County North Yorkshire (south of the river). While Middlesbrough is south of the river, it has a sister town across the river which is called Stockton-on-Tees. In this photo you can see Stockton’s Town Hall build in the 1700s which is located in the centre of the High Street.
While judging by the population Middlesbrough or Stockton-on-Tees seem to be small towns, together with a number of other small towns in this area they create a meaningful population equal to a large city. The whole region is sometimes called Teesside.
