Photographer's Note
Hey :)))
A big hello to the comunity again!! Hope to get contact with you again now :)
This is a tower from the Houses of Parliment, London.
I was there last June in a school ride through the city and really found it magic.
Some weeks later the bloody news about London bombings were just too horible to believe. And about everywhere where these things keep happening.
Now that i was geting an image to upload i picked this one, and then, maybe influenced by the mood on my classes theses days ;), got a thought on Charles Darwin, which is buried very close to this place.
After that, got into the Natural Selection idea...and then thougth again on the killing machine our specie is becoming nowadays...and then i was thinking: If Darwin was alive nowadays....i guess he would have to re-make his theory and put the discussion more on something like "the Un-Natural Selection"...

Hi Marco,
What an impressive color! Is it the "natural" color of the tower?
Excellent POV. It gives the impression of imposing, grandiose monument.
Very well done!

Hi Marco, good to see ya, it has been a while. Great golden and ochre tones you got in this steep upward angle on the HOP tower. Great textural details present in the facade work, and nice how the leading lines converge towards these shiny areas at the top. Beautiful photo.

Hey Marco, wellcome back, what a pleasure to CU posting again! I'm looking @ your new one on the small screen of my pda/gsm so I'll comment on general criteria ;-). The straight up angle suits this tower verrry well 'cause it shows off its architecture in a spectacular and graphically pleasing way. The romanesque arch acts as great introduction. The colour palet is gorgeous here. Indeed golden tones. Best regards from Lesvos.

Hello Marco!! Again a welcome back, I remember your other upload from Londond right after the desastrous bombing.
This is a gorgeous one, beautiful golen night colors, but woith still a lot of details visible. I love how the light is almost coming through on top of the tower.
Hope, you're here to stay for a while. Take care!

how the tower becomes a inspiration for major philosophy! ;-)
it's a great photo! Angle and light are perfect. it's indeed sad to witness what harm we do to eachother.
So glad the 'TE community' is at least capturing all this beauty for the next generations. Hopefully they will not need these photo's...

Your photo is so tall and your thoughts so deep. Don't worry too much about the world. It's a question of faith (and not necessarily of the religious kind). If we are not convinced that good will conquer evil and that friendship will outlast hate, then we have already lost the first battle. And that is not about to happen - but you could still do something about the digital noise.
