Photographer's Note

Waterfalls are a great subject for photography if someone wants to show the flow of water. A Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, supposedly said that everything flows, and as a result you cannot enter the same river twice. It seems not only river flows, but we are constantly changing as well. Some viruses have the ability to evolve at a very high rate. This includes RNA viruses like HIV, flu or recently quite famous Coronaviruses. This is quite an important observation because it may teach us to better appreciate the present moment. Carpe diem (seize the day) -wrote another Greek author. I suppose some rock stars who became rich and famous while being young, too often reach for drugs and use their time to party. It gives them an instant but very short gratification. Instead you should ask yourself a question, what is the best use of your life time. What we TrekEarth members have in common is that we believe that travel photography is something worth our while.

This is one more photo in my TE gallery presenting Lower Aysgarth Falls.
