Photographer's Note

Valley Bridge (locally known as Green Bridge) had become a very "popular" spot for people to commit suicide. Don't ask me why, but the bodies falling to the road (or into the duckponds of Valley gardens) is not very good for the tourist trade, so the council erected these huge (but quite picturesque given the circumstances) barriers along both sides of the bridge to make it a bit more difficult to fling yourself to your doom.

If you still feel inclined, use the Valley Footbridge, running parallel to this a hundred or so meters further towards the sea. lol
