Photographer's Note
I was in the Discovery Museaum in Newcastle, when I saw this huge picture of children in the last century. I thought it was a good contrast to have a child dressed in an old uniform and be part of the picture, but in colour.
Thanks for the reviews on this one. And thanks to Dad for telling me to let the world see it! I wasnt sure but he likes it and told me I should share it. I'm glad I did!

Yes, it's a nice idea for a picture. I like the raised hand - looks natural. Must be one very big photo!

Wow... this is sooo much better than your previous work with your lovely daughter. Here we have something that is engaging, thought provoking and well composed. She is properly exposed and the background is an excellent contrast to her in color - you were correct, this was a very good idea.
(My only comment would be about the flair on the wall behind her, a difficult situation to manage, but one that is perhaps recoverable post-camera.)

It is a very good photograph.
I liked this in the moment that considered first sight.
Screens are gloomy, but there is an enough good point.

This is an very intersting and original shot. Excellent idea. Just one thing : your daughter a bit more on the left (hiding completely the boy behind her) and she took really place!

Welldone Steve, very original. If you wanted to remove the line down the middle of the picture you could use the warp brush facility in paintshop pro...

Lovely idea indeed! I agree with Christopher/chrischris about the suggestion he made. With that sweet little girl a bit more to theleft and hiding completely the boy, as she really made part of it...
But even though, very well done!

This is quite a photgraph. Inisitally, I thought this was another one of those trick modifications using PhotoShop. But this is as natural as can get. Very Very Nice.
Agree with the rest of the guys, the girl could have been moved a bit to the left covering the boy. Also the line in the middle is distracting, not sure how I would remove it, but it would be good if you could.
I don't know if it's the photograph or my imagination, but it looks to me, if the coloured girl was frowning and made black and white, she would look a bit like the black and white girl in the picture next to her.

At first I thought it was composed in Photoshop!
I agree about the position of the girl. It would be perfect if she was a little to the left.
Excellent idea and work, anyway!
Regards!
