Photographer's Note

Memories of summer,taken at the hieght of the warmer weather, one of many spiecies of hoverfly found on the nusery their larve feed on aphids make them on of the good guys. Here feeding on nectre on a purple flowered of burnet, the little black things also on it are pollen beetles.
treatment of the pic, Crop to frame it up then levels ,contrast and brightness + unsharp mask.

J'adore les macros et j'ai souvent voulu photographier une abeille sur une fleur, malheureusement sans succès. J'espère pouvoir mettre une telle photo un jour sur TE. Très claire, et avec tous ces autres insectes, la scène et vraiment unique.

This is one great macro. It's amazing how you've managed to get even the little beetles to stand out sharply in the photo, too.
