Photographer's Note

This young man was chosen from the spectators gathered to witness the upcoming sword fight to settle a dispute in the castle grounds. He was to be dressed in a full suit of armour and then knighted after which, he would become the judge for the fight. He proved to be a very willing subject and I suppose it was a thrill for an 11 year old boy to don a suit of armour. He was quite funny really and asked questions like "How do I go to the bathroom in this?" much to the dismay of the dresser. Fortunately it was just a theoretical question.

Now that's a great photograph, and a great subject.

What I like the best is how you've captured the thrill on the boys face! The red and black of the man helping is spectacular, and the rock wall in the background adds to the image.

The note you've added is great. This gives me a window into a place I'd have likely never seen. Very well done!

The joy on the boy's face is excellent. The three figures really standout against the soft background colours. Well captured. Interesting note.
