hello..Corpach (Scottish Gaelic: A' Chorpaich) is a large village north of Fort William, in the Scottish Highlands. The canal lock at Corpach Basin on Loch Linnhe, east of the narrows leading to Loch Eil, is the western sea entrance of the Caledonian Canal. The summit is 1,345 metres (4,413 ft)[1] above sea level and is the highest land in any direction for 459 miles (739 kilometres).[3][a] Ben Nevis stands at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Highland region of Lochaber, close to the town of Fort William.

This is a very fine composition, with a strong f/g triangle, the ship strongly placed to anchor the f/g and a wonderful, atmospheric b/g.

Hi Dale,

A great point of view for a shot of Ben Nevis. The old wreck makes a fantastic foreground feature, and the dark landscape helps set the mood. I like the touch of gold in the sky too.
