Photographer's Note

Buachaille Etive Mor means The Great Shepherd of Etive and is a wonderfully impressive mountain located in the Scottish Highlands.

The Buachaille as it is sometimes simply called is a mountain at the head of Glen Etive in the Highlands of Scotland. It has an almost perfect pyramidal shape which makes it one of the most recognisable mountains in Scotland. This really is a wild and most beautiful area. This shot was among some taken a few years ago on my second visit to Scotland. I'll post a few more images of this mount (or Munroe as they are referred to in Scotland) over the next few days. I have a lot of posting to catch up with.

Best regards

Buachaille Etive Mor.
A sentinel stands watching over the land,
created long before we were,
hewn by nature’s law to majestically soar,
The Great Shepherd, Buachaille Etive Mor.
