Hello Dave,

A nice picture with lots of nice colours and with fine movement of the peaty water I well remember from beautiful Glen Affric.

I just thought (I hope you won't mind or be offended) that I would do a little simple workshop on this one. I felt it could take a bit of sharpening, so I've done that. I've also cropped it a little in an attempt to try to help it to comply with the Rule of Thirds which is a well-recognised rule in composition and has been for over 200 years, long before the advent of photography - worth a wee look.

In any case, as I said, I hope you won't be upset by my criticism or the workshop - see what you think. Otherwise, I love the colours and lighting in this photograph.
