Photographer's Note
Out and about catching the late afternoon sun, I was trying to record an image of Wild Boar fell, a distinctive landmark in these parts. I thought it might work well viewed across the water of this tarn, but as I crept nearer to get JUST the right angle, and as my feet got wetter and wetter in the boggy ground, this vista opened up instead !
Enjoy !
Location. The Little yellow man wont reach here, but can be viewed about 200m away.

Hello Martin,
Worth the wet feet I think. The light is lovely and the reflection on the water subtle. The composition works very well with the diagonal fence leading to a tree across the tarn. Beautifully presented as usual.
Best wishes,
Ann

Hello Martin,
This is a beautiful shot and worth wetting the feet. Love the light, colors and sharpness. I like the subtle reflection in the water. The wild grass and the diagonal fence give that special beauty to the image. Well composed and framed.

Gidday Martin
You've stumbled on a little trasure here. It's beautiful countryside for sure and the light makes it exquisite. Particularly those wonderful silvery and gold tones on the water. You captured it so well. I also like the diagonal line of the fence in the foreground. Great job...worthy of a nice Irish WhiskEy to treat yourself with after an arduous trek ;)
Thanks for sharing and thanks for correcting my spelling - you'd think that after drinking so much of it, I'd know how to spell it :)

Hi Martin,
Stunning light and colours in this one! A very well spotted opportunity, you have managed to find the perfect point of view here creating a nice diagonal in the foreground whilst maintaining the balance of the image, just the right amount. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Martin,
This is a lovely photo taken from a good angle I always find it nice to capture the old fence posts barbed wire etc; adds interest & character to the shot - the reflections & pretty sky are very nice - overall a peaceful image to enjoy looking at.
Kindest regards,
Dawn.
