Hello Dale - Wonderful colour in the vegetation, you have captured all the subtle tones of the Highland very well. The DOF is good, pin sharp in the front fading to a softness in the mountain and sky. There seems to be a slight problem with grain in the sky which detracts a little from the quality but a lovely shot under good light nevertheless. Enjoy your weekend. Rosemary

hi dale,
lovely scene, very similar to the mourne mountains in northern ireland. the light here is excellent. great colours, especially the heather. nice composition with the rock in the foreground and the path leading into the scene.

Very moody composition with delicious textures of the scenery (the stone, the fields, grasses, moutains) and excellent depth. Super light management and play of colors on the fields. Very interesting foggy BG

What an autumnal colors! An amazing nature. Your shot shows the beauty of this place in excellent way and the mountains in a fog. A very romantic scene. I like it.

Hi Dale (or should I call you "Donut Dale"? :)

Lovely colours once again here. Trans-seasonal Scotland is just a joy (when it's not raining of course). I like the textures in the foreground and the slight noise in the sky doesn't worry me at all, adding to the atmosphere. But are you aware of the free software Neat Image? It's great for removing the noise and any uneven colour in the sky.

Bonjour Dale,
un avant plan qui se détache bien en relief par ses couleurs vives et que la brume masque l'arrière plan. Des couleurs fortes pour un endroit qui invite à la balade.

Dale, good to read your comment again...I like your picture, with those beautiful soft colors, the little path, leading to a panoramic spot, I'm sure...great horizon over the mountain!!
