Photographer's Note
Another picture from the placed that I haven't met our TE friends.
This time it is Calton Hill - a hill in central Edinburgh, Scotland, situated beyond the east end of Princes Street and included in the city's UNESCO World Heritage Site. Views of, and from, the hill are often used in photographs and paintings of the city. As you can see the tower - Nelson Monument, is very close to the Greek Temple - National Monument of Scotland. I didn't climb the tower, unfortunately. Maybe I didn't know it was possible, or it was closed in the evening. But the view from the hill is wonderful too.
Sorry, better size
The view from the hill

Hello Malgo,
One of the advantages of being without TE-friends is that you don’t have to take care that one or two are on the scene you want to capture :- )) But with friends it is always much attractive.
And nobody knows that among the peoples in the distance maybe one is a TE-member.
A lovely scene with a great blue sky.
Have a nice Sunday. Groet Rob

Dear Malgo,
I have been there three years ago, I haven't met any TE friends either. Oh, wait! I wasn't a TE member that time! :)
Good composition!
Have a nice Sunday!
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Malgo,
Today we are almost neighbors on TE, so you are close to a friend anyway ;-). This is a fine photo with interesting buildings and nice green diagonals. Still, I prefer the WS for the spectacular view of the city and the great human touch of the foreground. But I like both photos.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Malgo,
I have visited Edinburgh on several occasions but have never ventured up Calton Hill. Excellent capture with superb colours and clarity. The people contribute to the pleasant summery mood.

Hi Malgo
Beautifully sharp image and the outlines of the structure are so sharp against this beautiful blue sky. The colors compliment each other perfectly. Really cool photo

Ciao Malgo,

Pozdrawiam serdecznie,
M

Hello Malgo,
This is virtual reality!
It's amazing that we have travelled to the same places and taken photographs from similar places! I have to say, Edinburgh is a great place for photography on a sunny day, as your photograph confirms!
We climbed right to the top of the Nelson Memorial (in your photograph) and counted every step, it seemed so high!
There is something strange about the National Memorial, on your photograph, John's and mine, it creates a very 3D impression, almost as if it has been superimposed.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Ciao Malgo
Saluti

Hi Malgorzata,
The tower is helping to frame the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the tower and the greek temple. The good luminosity is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

pozdrawiam

Hello Malgo,
Wow, what a beautiful photo of Calton Hill. What a wonderful, sunny day you had there with a perfectly blue sky and very attractive green tones of the grass and trees too. The tower, columns and other building on the left are well distributed over the photo.

Hi Malgo,
A wonderful saturated blue sky that contrasts well with the yellow green fg grassy lawn. Good sharpness and the Doric style Greek building makes a fine focal point. The people provide scale. Tfs!

Dear Itchy Feet
Aw poor Malgo, you didn't meet any friends in Scotland? Well we will have to fix that. If I ever go back, I will let you know and we can organise a meeting.
A beautiful blue sky here, very un-Scottish. I love the stark building against the sky and the wide angle POV.
Thanks for sharing, happy Sunday
