A great photo of the modern skyline of London. The new highrise buildings, many of them still being built, look great, especially in this fine sunlight. Very well captured and composed.

wow! that what I actually said to myself right away.
this is an easy WOW photo for me. I wish I could see it in person someday. you say its taken from the Terrace of Tate...i don't know what that is, i'll have to look it up.

The wideness of the area is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the highrise buildings. The light is enhancing the colours. Have a nice day.

Hi Danos,

London is 2nd only to New York as a world financial and business centre so I guess all these global banks and corporations need somewhere to stay / operate. And it's reflected in the ever changing skyline of London. Good high pov with lots to see. Tfs!

Modern towers appearing in every modern town, big cities have no choice but to grow upwards, Danos.
A great sight from a high POV, include the river with a boat passing, and evidently we see a mixture of old and new.

Hi Danos,
This viewpoint is fantastic. I have to keep this in mind for my next visit. The skyline of the city has certainly chaged during recent years. But there's still a good selection of older buildings too that make London look like London. Sidelight is perfect here.

This is like two separate cities side by side. Near the river is the London I basically recognize since decades ago, beyond it rises a brand new city of fantastic skyscrapers. It is like looking i.nto the future. It's a fascinating photo with excellent colours and exposure.

This is a great view of the skyline of London. The inclusion of the Thames and the historic buildings are what distinguished this from the skyline of any other modern city, I suppose.👍

The Tate Modern doesn't only show modern contemporary art but from its terrace also a great view of London with the Thames and the new highrise.

I had no time to visite tate modern only the old tate britain. haha.
nice this view of the skyscrapers in the City. I walked a lot around them, but I would like to have had more time to know more of the area.
