Photographer's Note
Taken in Glen Etive on a typically (for the time of year) overcast and rainy day. Even in this weather though, the glen is stunning and never fails to impress. This little river flows all the way down to Loch Etive parralleling the twisty road most of the way.

Bonjour Davy,
Très belle photo, j'aime beaucoup la texture des pierres du premier plan ainsi que la netteté de l'ensemble.
L'eau semble sortir de nul part, c'est grandiose!
Magnifique realisation.

Wonderful picture Davy, the details are stunning with great light, and the misty hills add to the mood. Perfect composition and just the right amount of blur in the water. Clarity is amazing considering the gloomy weather conditions. It's gone into my favourites, as I love scenes like this. Well done and TFS. Best wishes, Vicky

Glen Etive is one of my favourite spots in Scotland and I love how you've captured its spirit. The longish exposure, the beautifully saturated fall/winter colours and the down-to-the-river camera position make this a successful image.
