I took this on a very changeable day in february. when the clouds broke and I was ready to shoot, it started raining, so this is the only exposure I managed. I cropped it to panorama in photoshop.

Nice panoramic shot :) The cloud coverage is nice, the sky is blue, and your exposure is good. Welcome to TE :) Hope to see more of your pics.

welcome to TE...its always nice to have another Brit on board...

I'm not much of a landscape photographer...you will find me stalking the streets of England usually, so something I need to learn is how to critique landscape photos better...

This looks like you have hardly done any processing, which is quite nice, because people tend to get carried away when processing skies and the results can end up looking ridiculously unrealistic! This does not look like that at all...I love those grey tones in the sky and general mood which is given off with the white and blue...

simple and stunning!

You mentioned that you don't know how this all works...well, most people try to build a little rapport with other members...critiquing and reading through other's ritiques is a great part of the learning curve...
