Photographer's Note
This photo was taken during the war with Iraq. The sun was coming from the wrong direction to photograph the protesters outside Parliment and too low for the statues. Boring sky was all around. Getting intimate with Big Ben made it all worth while.

a beautiful shot. I love the different shades of stone and gold against the white of the clock. great angle.

I wouldn't say it's a perfect composition, but it's an interesting one, and I like it :)
I always appreciate when somebody can find a new perspective of something already clichéd.
