Photographer's Note
So surprised to see this beautiful creature so close to home - the first one I've ever seen. It appeared on a walk down the beck yesterday - just after we saw the Four-spotted Chaser. Picture is sharpened and cropped.

Couleurs tout a fait captivantes....
Profondeur de champs..enviable....
Belle précision et moments magiques capturés pour notre bon plaisir...

Very beautifull creature, very good colours and compesition, there is a little lack of sharpness on the eye.

Good image especially as you are shooting against the light here, the colours really glow with the metalic sheen they are best known for. the Goose grass / Cleaves its using for a perch is also well balanced enough in focus to tell what it is but not enough to distract from the amazing Demoiselle , nice one
male bye the way ;0)))#

Jax, I simply cann't imagine how I missed this one, but I have been very busy lately - laying flat on the ground out in my little wilderness shooting bugs.
Excellent backlight picture with great sharpness and wonderfull colours really showing this beauty off in a lovely composition - hats off.
