Brilliant capture, I've never yet managed to get one from this angle, they seem to always shy away if I try.. Excellent DOF, you even managed to get the forward pointing antenna tips included. And to top it off, you just "happened" to get it against a clean background ;-))

That is a great shot! The perspective makes it look like some creature from another planet. This is one of the most interesting butterfly shots I've seen.

Also a nice approach and POV, but I feel you needed fill flash to bring the flower' outside also into the picture. The B'fly is spoton!

Original POV, Robert, I like it very much. We needed some new angle on all the butterfly pictures, and you provided it. Very well captured, I never could imagine that butterfly bodies had this particular form (seen from their front). One of my favourites!

Callie, if you would like to see this flower with more detail, look here. But beware, there's no butterfly around ;o).
