Photographer's Note

A short re-visit to the Herzliya marina, took this photo from the outer pier upon the dock's repair-yard.
A busy picture, though found only one guy there handling a boat.

The place is at 32.1585, 34.794 on the map.

Hello Ike,
This is an interesting marina of a kind I'm not used to seeing. I can't recall any other place where I've seen boats stored on shelves like here. It's a fascinating view of a place where just one man can do a lot of hard work with the assistance of modern technology.

Hello Ike,

This is an interesting photograph!
Of course, boats which spend most of their time partially submerged will need to checked for any problems and the only way to do that is in a dry dock.
The boats do look out of place, suspended in the air.
How interesting that one of the cradles look mobile!

It's a fine, sharp photograph, the jetty well placed.
Your inclusion of the figure is very useful, as it confirms the scale.

Hello Ike,
Lots of boats, but only one of them in the water. A great overview of the dockyard. The composition is good and well-balanced. I like the several shades of blue as well.

This type image get we not everyday.
A dockyard for small ships, also sail boats.
You tool this picture during a quiet moment, maybe during a break, the workers be absence..
Composition and presentation are excellent.

I've never been in a boats repair dockyard. So for me this is a new and interesting picture.
We see a few workmen, which makes the scale of the whole clear to us.
