Photographer's Note
The Ein Gedi Spa was once built on the shores of the Dead sea. Some 20 years later, the sea is 1.2 kilometers away.
Due to the the diversion of the only source of incoming water (the Jordan river), as well as the industrial exploatation of the minerals to be found in it, the sea is shrinking at a rate of 1m per year.
The slabs of rough sharp salt that you can see here is what's left behind...
At -416m, this is also the lowest place you can walk on Earth. And getting lower!

Buna, Tudor!
Hristos a Inviat!
Cam trist peisajul pentru o fotografie de Pasti.
Oricum, lumina e faina si calitatea foarte buna!
Numai bine,
Mihaela
