Photographer's Note

Near Last supper room, near Dormition Church is a place pointed as being the tomb of King David by orthodox Jews. Some scholars said this is a tomb a medieval noble only and the Bible says the David burial site was located in the other side of old town.

Junto à sala da Santa Ceia e da Igreja da Dormição está o local que os judeus ortodoxos afirmam ser a tumba do rei Davi. Alguns estudiosos dizem que é apenas a tumba de um nobre do período medieval e que, conforme está escrito na Bíblia, Davi foi sepultado no outro lado da cidade velha.

Hello Jorge,
"Alternative facts" have flourished in all religions for thousands of years, long before they became official US policy. You believe what you believe. Whoever is buried here it is an interesting study of faith and as such tells us something about the world.
