Sorry for the title, but the local internet man here in Göreme, an older man too, found it funny and assured me that no one would feel affronted.

If you thought the market of cell phones was meant only for young people, here you got the proof that even elder people enjoy this small gadget.

There were sitting in the shade while the first man tried to explain how this little wonder of technology was working.

After they saw the photo on the LCD and they liked it, you too ?

Fun stuff Henk! The subtle humor in the photo is wonderful (at least I found it subtly humorous). The older generation trying to decipher the cell phone works well. The pov is effective here, and so is the marvelous lighting. A fine moment to capture!

Funny daily life scene!!Is there my father too?Because he keeps all the time his mobile phone in hands ,checking the menu,or calling us :)even if we are near him in the same place :)))

Really a gentle humor settled on this delicate and interesting veteran photo.

ps: Turkish people are sombre. We usually prefer wearing brown, black and grey. You can not easily find charming and bright colors everywhere...

This is a very tendered one. It needs to be looked at carefully to get the message. It reflects sociology of life: how the elders are adapting or even amazed with our new technology. It is a very good to illustrate in a textbook talking about "gerontology" and modernism.
