Some pictures are taken in remote places but this one was taken right under my nose, the small street next to my office in Istanbul: I would say it is the first picture taken with my new toy the Sony Cybershot. I was happy when this woman showed up and looked at me, she must have thought " What the hell is he trying to do ?

Superbly composed, with wonderful vivid colors. The pov and the prespective, the continuity is very very nice.
The notes are funny. Maybe she thought ''why do these tourists keep photographing me?''

The clutter of the signs are similar to many north Asian cities. A really interesting picture. Well done.

Hi Izzet. It's a bit reminiscent at first glance of a busy area in a Japanese city, let's say Akihabara (the Electronics town) in Tokyo. Good rhythm created by the alignment of colorful signs and shop windows, and a well-timed human interest provided by the woman. I hope all is well with you.

Merhaba,
I've been thinking of getting a P&S myself for unobtrusive photography like this. Shutter lag and lack of raw processing have kept me away. Maybe the new Ricoh GR-D II. Tight framing is essential in this interesting capture. The vertical lines with reds and blues are really nice. I also like the two reflections on either side of the lone woman. The downside is the noise on her face and dark attire. Did you apply any NR? Regards,
