Mom, Can I Get a Duckling?, a photo from Kirklareli, Marmara

While looking for a place to eat, we came across this poultry vendor. Although I did not hear him speak, I am sure the boy in the green t-shirt was asking his mom whether they could take a duckling or a chick home.

Which reminds me, when we lived in Lüleburgaz, my dad did decide to raise chickens. We ate their eggs for a long time. Eventually, there were rumors of a chicken epidemic going on in town and dad preemptively killed all our chickens and put them in the freezer, we ate a lot of chicken for a while.

when I was a child my parents had a lot of
chickens hens and roosters...
My family ate their eggs for
a long long time too...
but i RED CAREFULLY your useful notes

Hello Murat, The chicken and ducklings are such cute creatures, would be nice to have them at home. But they grow fast. Nice very colourful scene. Now I understand why you went to this rarely shown place. You just wanted to see the town of your childhood.

Hello Murat,
Another nice street scene. The colors and contrasts are quite intense. Maybe the light was not so good and made some processing of the photo necessary. The result is quite good in any case. I may have passed through Lúleburgaz on my way from Edirne to Istanbul in 1974, but of course I have no memories of the town.

Hello Murat,

Innocent as it may seem, I wonder if those ducks will end up in a pot! (I can remember how shocked our children were, on their first visit to France, that the rabbits in the market were not going home to be pets!)
It's a lovely compact composition, lots of f/g interest and direct access to the details in the b/g.

my aunt bought small chicks and give to her baby and he killed them by fun and she give him more. this is a sick thing.
I am surprise you didn't give up of to eat chickens after having eat so much.

Hi Murat,also in Italy it was very common to keep a few hens to always have fresh eggs, but it is a tradition that has almost disappeared ... 3 interesting photos, obviously children want to have animals at home, the problem is that they give a lot of work and sometimes they are a real nuisance.
