I thought I would contribute the main entry to the Small Talk series started by Gert (holmertz). After we were just warming up to the huge sanctuary and before we had a chance to get to the upper gallery, an announcement was made to the effect that all visitors should leave because prayer time was approaching. I caught these two guards talking after we got back out to the narthex. They were obviously engrossed in the details of evacuating the mosque.

Hello Murat,
I am always pleased to be at your service. ;-) Apart from the small talk this photo has the advantage of a guard dressed in a red vest. Red clothes will save any photo. Strictly architecturally I like the empty outer narthex of WS#1 the best. The undecorated walls and ceiling are very beautiful.

Hi Murat,so not only cats and child playing, but a great confusion and noise too inside Agia Sophia as i can see. A perfect capture of what happens close to entrance, but the show is made by the 2 wonderful perspectives in the WS,another fantastic post for my eyes and to who like this style and these colors! Hi Murat,
nice capture with several people in nice poses. The Guards are having blue and red outfits which go well together. There seem to be plenty of ladies in scarves, May be they arrived for the prayer time or it was a tourist group from Malaysia.
Very photogenic. I like especially the lady in the right corner who is taking photo with her cell phone.
