that's how i feel when i'm with you
getting lost deep in your soul
falling for you... a love that is true...

...Having missed the TETurk meeting by the sapanca lake last sunday i was so sad and blue:) the whole week... as i had to go to izmit for family stuff for the weekend we -rigoletto, kagemusha and me- decided to go for a daytrip to sapanca lake on sunday... following the steps of the others we had so much fun...

Keşke göl kenarında çiftliğimiz olsa, bahçesinde tavuk beslesek, arada bir göle kaçan tavukların kendi kendilerine yüzme öğrenişine bakarak gurur ve sevinç gözyaşları döksek usulcana, kendi ellerimizle otlattığımız besili ineklerimizi gün aşırı sağsak ve sütünden peynir, peynirinden menemen yapsak, çürümüş sazların köklerinden kalem yapıp sakarmekelerin karakalem portrelerini yapsak ve sıkılınca ortaköy'e gelip pazar günleri tezgahta satsak, aldığımız para ile yeni piliçler alıp tavuk olana kadar yetiştirsek ve onların yumurtalarından haşlayıp kahvaltıda tokuştursak, arada bir gidip Ali Usta'nın bitmeyen kaynak işlerine el atsak, o da bize padişah padişah karizma satsa, Gölevi'nde Miller içip suflenin kömürlerini kazısak, Ali Usta'ya da Miller ısmarlasak, arada bir gelen TE'cilere sakarmeke taklidi yapsak, bu merdivenlerin fotoğraflarını çekmeye çalışanları suya itip onların fotoğraflarını biz çeksek... This is a really catchy view that is simply impossible to overlook. The thumbnail looked impressive, but the photo itself is even more impressive.
The theme and POV here is great and it fits perfectly with the title.

Bakış açısı çok iyi ağaç yapraklarının yansımaları da bir okadar güzel . Bizim gittiğimiz hafta çok soğuktu bende iskeleden fotograf çekmek istedim ama yağmur çamur sel ve toprak kaymasi nedeni ile iskeleye varamadım :)

I wa reading about 'rabbit blood' when I noticed the link to this photograph also. The next time I am in Istnabul, I hope I can accompany you and rigoletto on one of these photographic expeditions. I love the image of the stairs desecending into the water, very much evocative of a site on the mediterranean (perhaps around Fethiye). Great shot, sharp as a razor, and wonderfully composed.

Hi Korkut - congratulationssss! for it's always nice to see the eye of a photographer (you, in this case) can find/discover great beauty in what seems to be mundane places or situations. The composition is really amazing, the viewer's eye is dramatically taken to that deep blue point just below the water, and in this case the reflections around give a really magical atmosphere.
