CANADA DAY is here... and we finally have some Summer in the Maritimes...

The sun is now setting as far "North West" as she will this year... In a previous shot at this angle the sun set in the distance. This time I shot along the same angle across the shoreline! The sun sets much further North now than in the Winter or Spring... This time the only sunset colours we see are the reflections on the clouds.

At this angle those sunset colours are not the same...

This view is from Sambro Head to Bull Point where a small lighthouse marks the passage to the inner Sambro Harbour.

A simple image, where sky and sea merge into one!
Delicate sunset light, Nova Scotia isn't much different from where I live...
Attractive composition!

Beautiful Canada, I like the simplicity of the composition that gives all the space to those transparent, smooth pinks, the diagonal clouds vis-à-vis the straight shoreline, quite a peaceful mood.
