Yesterdy was probably one of the coldest days around here -27 celcius with the windshield.I just had to venture out and shoot some photos on the way to work. This photo was taken on the overpass by Highbury and Trafalfar Av's as one of the CN trains was picking up speed on the way out of town.
Believe me in this kind of wheather 5 minutes of photo taken equals 5 frozen fingers[ at least for a while]

Excellent shot. I'm not sure of it's just me, but it feels like the shot is leaning a bit to the right. Otherwise I love this shot. The light looks great on the trains, and the exposure was perfect; you didn't overexpose the bright areas nor underexpose the darker areas in the foreground. Excellent!

London is a strange town for those of us from the States. I had a hell of a time trying to find a beer store there...

great use of perspective, I also like the colour contrast between the cold blue foreground and the warm colours of the background as well as the lights of the train.
I agree that the image seems to have a bit of a slant towards the right - it looks even better when I just rotate my notebook a bit...

Great picture. I like the contrast beween the slow (and curving) freight train and the locomotive with a halo of airborne snow around it. Great colors too! I really like the yellow of the lights set against the blueish hues of the snow.

Very interesting train/train yard shot. Nice mix of rails and cars – but the motion of the locomotive makes this shot-
I like the buildings in the background but I would crop the image tighter to simplify it and emphasize the train/trainyard – posted a WS.

I really like this dynamic picture, the city on the backgroung, the train, the colors. In my mindd i prefer the one you made than the first workshop. -27° Brrrrr i can't imagine that !

Como se diz pelas nossas bandas, Bons olhos te vejao.
Frio de mais para o meu gosto. As cores estao excellent e o comboio da um diagonal optimo a foto.
O movimento do comboio a chegar esta mesmo bom.
