Photographer's Note
Okay,so heres the scoop, my Husband and I own a house on Lake Erie, we've got a big yard about 3/4 acre that I mow every four days with a push mower. Then I rake it when I'm done..I'm really fussy with our yard! But if you know me you'll know that I might complain about having to mow it so often..but this particular day I was raking the lawn and I stood there wondering...why the heck complain...look at what I get to look at while I'm working outside! My husband and I just recently put in another section of fencing there behind the weeping birch tree so now we have even more of a view as there were huge tall cedar trees there.
I just thought I'ld share this photo with you and if you hear me complain about mowing or raking the lawn remind me okay? Not to complain...:o)
( I know there is a slight burn there in the bottom , not sure how I remove that?)

Hi Donna,
You do have a remarkable view from your lovely yard. The lush green lawn contrast nicely with the white birch tree and the distant mist over Lake Erie. The rake leading on the tree in the shadows is another fine element to this image.

To mow and rake, how I know this toture all too well... It never ends, yet the two intertwine. Everything is metered accordingly. The rake rested upon the weeping birch is my fav. The flare is barely noticilbe. I don't ever look at them as problems.
Good coverage.

Hi Donna,
Hey, I'll mow and rake your lawn if you ever moan about it.....such a great view to wake up to every day.....enjoy it. Nice colours and lighting, and the fence leads the eye into the frame. Well captured.
Cheers Grant

Okay Donna,
That sure got my attention; you already explained how and where you lived so I thought what in the world could be her problem?
And okay yes I now understand, but really as they say please count your blessings - it's totally wonderful.
That smudge in the bottem - if it was on the grass then you can use the clone stamp from PhotoFiltre and clone it over with some grass, but here you have the rake to consider.
TFS and never ever let us hear of complaints!!
You provide a bit of fun here - I think it's all way too serious...

Hello Donna,
Very good composition of the end of your garden, taking best advantage of the fence line. I like the contrast beween the greenery of the garden and the view across the river. Some nice light and shadow contrasts and lovely tones.

Bonsoir Donna,
les plaisirs d'avoir un grand terrain, surtout au bord d'un lac et pas n'importe quel, le lac Érié, belle composition bien cadré , j'aime bien l'effet que la clôture donne sur le côté droit.
Salutations

Hi Donna
Keep complaning cause now, I know why we see only pictures taken from your house.Apart being a beautiful place, you do not have time to go out and see the world.Let the grass grow, the wind will take the leaves away for the neighbor to pick, and we will see more of the world through your photos.
Oh! by the way, I might buy your place if the work is taking too much of your time.
Have a good week
Charles
