Photographer's Note

Fifteen large sailboats visited Toronto as part of the Redpath Waterfront Festival. On this picture four of them can be seen in front of Toronto’s HTO Park. The large white hauled ship is the Norwegian SS Sorlandet, the oldest full-rigged ship in the world still in operation. Built in 1927, and currently used as the home of the 'Class Afloat', a unique school program for high school students preparing to enter college or university.

I love these ships,ans especially so when they visit a fine city and allow the creation of a shot like this. Great combination of the ships and the architecture.
That building looks huge!
